MERRRRYYYY CHRISTMAAAS!!!!!!!!!!!!
We had an awesome Christmas this year!! Sorry I didn't get my A & A post up last week, but I got sidetracked. It's okay though, trust me, you didn't miss anything.

Papa and Grandma came up for Christmas this year. We had a Christmas Eve program this year too since it happened to be on a Wednesday. Charity was Mary. The children in the church put on a small program depicting the true meaning of Chrisymas. They dressed up like angels and shephards and sang beautifully!

Every Christmas Eve we open up gifts from kids to kids and from kids to parents/grandparents. That way on Christmas day we're not opening presents all day with all of us kids.

There's not nearly enough room under the tree for all the gifts for 10 kids, so we do piles for each child. Everyone has a different type of wrapping paper (which is a big deal because we only use wrapping paper for Christmas; we use pillow cases for birthdays. It saves money.

Instead of writing names on the presents, Daddy uses a sort of code. Like, last year we were animals and this year fruit. Charity was an orange (of course), I was a tomato (it is technically a fruit), everyone else were various other fruits. This way no one knows what pile is theirs until mom and dad tell us... Keeps us in suspense!

Anyway Merry Christmas!!!!!! I have pictures, but they're on my dad's phone so I'll have to wait for those.

Awkward:

  • When your sister reminds you of the time you made up a tap dance when you were 7.
  • When your sister reminds you of all the awkward things you've ever done in your life. I think she was trying to give me ideas or something.
  • When someone steals the headlight out of your van on Christmas Eve night and your parents are sad because they really don't have the extra money to replace it.
  • I can't remember any other awkward things that happened in the near past.

And now for the AWESOME

  • Our Christmas program, The Greatest Gift. I know this has been in every. single. awesome list, but it was awesome anyway.
  • My brother is home!!!!!!!
  • Chocolate covered apples. The Holloways gave us some chocolate fudge sauce and it tasted amazing. Especially on apples. Sadly, it strangely disappeared in about one day...
  • Chemistry (I know, it's weird. Did you know that "HI" stands for hydroiodic acid?)
  • Finishing a two semester geometry class in one semester!! I'm taking College Algebra next semester and don't want to have to do two different types of math at the same time. Actually, I still have about 17ish lessons left plus three tests, but if I do two every day, I'll get done in 10 days!!!!!!!!
  • My new skirt!!!! It's great!
  • WE GET TO GO TO CAAAAMMMMPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!! Autumn, Melody, Timothy, and I are going to Wildwood Winter Retreat. Someone paid all four of the kids to be able to go! I've only been to Camp Joy in WI, but I'm sure this will be fun too!!
  • Snow. Let is snow, let it snow, let it snooooowwwww.                                             Merry Christmas and Happy Saturday!!!
