Awkward and Awesome | Spring and Sore Throats

Spring is finally here and the grass is green and growing!!! Timothy really wanted to mow yesterday, so Mom finally let him. He probably won't be too excited later this summer 'cause we girls won't be here to help him! We had SAT testing every day this week, plus ACT for me, Autumn, and Melody. My brain is completely fried.
BUT I DON'T EVER HAVE TO TAKE THOSE FILL-IN-THE-CIRCLEY TESTS AGAIN!!!! Unless I fail or something....But that won't happen. Hopefully.
Aaaaaaaaanyyyway. Moving on.
Awesome first today:
  • Spring is here and the weather is getting hot! I think I might have gotten a sunburn today actually....Or it may have been my imagination.
  • Amarisa is crawling!! Well, sort of. She army crawls and also gets up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth, then dives forward. So we're getting somewhere!
  • Our basement is clean. The flooding brought in huge amounts of dirt. And leaves. And worms. And other random insects and arachnids (one of which bit Autumn.) If anyone wants a couch or chair, stop by our house. The couch's stuffing is coming out and the chair's arm is broken jsyk.
  • OUR DISHWASHER IS INSTALLED. Yayayayay! Of course, since I do laundry I don't do dishes (except for the random dozenish times out of the goodness of my heart:)) but its cool anyway;)
  • Oh, we also have a trampoline if anyone wants that too. ;)
  • Stephen turned 12 today! which means next year he'll be 13. Scary.
  • My glasses came in on Wednesday! Even though I could see pretty much fine without them, its amazing to see everything clearly!
  • Melody and I got our permits on Thursday. Sadly, my dad would not let me drive him home;)
Awkward:
  • Making patterns on the little bubbles when you don't know the answer on the SAT. I only did that on math and only once because all the answers were D. So I switched it up a bit! Perfect logic.
  • When you get a sore throat the day before the choir is supposed to sing at the nursing home. I mean, I guess Melody can sing the soprano by herself; though it'd be like, 10 to 1.
  • When you decide not to talk the rest of that day because of your sore throat. Audi keeps writing me notes to answer about the weirdest things trying to get me to talk.
  • Salt water is nasty. Plus it didn't work.
  • When all three of us older girls got the exact same glasses down to the color. And we didn't even know that until we got them! What can we say? Great minds think alike!;)
  • When your sister, who does not like "eating coffee", as she says, drank it when I  told her that people don't usually eat coffee anyway. They drink it.
  • I'm pretty sure I'm missing something important, but I can't remember it. Which isn't really surprising, knowing me. Oh well, it must not have been that important than.:)

Happy Saturday!

Awkward:
  • Pretending its summer and not 41* so you sit outside in short sleeves. Though I guess I did that in winter too....minus the sitting outside part:)
  • I now cannot say "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers" without laughing.
  • Goodwill. It always makes me feels like I'm in a kaleidoscope.
  • The basement flooded. Again. But then again so did everyone elses :) (Except that we live a hill, so our basement shouldn't even be flooding)
When the basement floods and the pipes are clogged so you can't run the washer. So, the clothes pile grows everyday. And i had all the laundry done too! *sigh*
  • The (old) Hardy Boy Mysteries. Are my sister, brother, and I the only ones who think Joe should have dark hair and Frank blond hair? I need to speak to the author....
AWESOME (in all caps just 'cause ;))
  • Easter!!!! So very thankful that Christ not only died for me, but also that He rose again and is a living God!!
  • Summer is only 73 days away; give or take a few hours;)
  • Tater tot casserole. (the kind with cheese, cream of mushroom, cream of chicken. No vegetables in sight:)
  • The Home school Teen choir. You really have to be there.
  • Amarisa scooting on her tummy backwards under the couch. Then she lays there smiling until someone rescues her.
  • Logarithms. I love logarithms.
  • Its finally warm enough outside to go barefoot without getting frostbite!!
  • Melody turned 17 in March! So now I'm the odd one out because Josh is 19, Autumn is 18, Melody is 17, and I'm 15. And by the time I turn 16 Josh will be 20 (!!!). Oh well.
  • My eye appointment was on Wednesday and when my glasses come in I can seeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!! (I am totally not excited at all.;))
  • Goodwill. Even though it does look like a kaleidoscope, they had 99 cent shoes there a couple weeks ago.
  • I only have 2 more subjects left as a junior in high school. And American History is almost over so then I'll only have 1.
  • Apples to Apples (the game).
  • Charity. For a three-year-old, she's way to smart.
  • I have more Awesome things than Awkward:))
Have an amazing Saturday!!!!
