Awkward and Awesome | Just Because

Awesome:
  • Camp Joy. It just is.
  • The weather we've been having for the past couple of days, 75*!!!
  • Charity, who puts on my glasses and says she's going to be me when she grows up.
  • Deuteronomy 31:8
And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
  • The Cola Clash +!!! There were a lot of really good messages, games, and food:).
  • Long road trips (with awesome conversations!!!) like the one to the Cola Clash +
  • Friends who take your place at a moments notice when you can't.
  • Bonfires.
  • Coffee. Need I say more?
  • Speech class is over in less than two weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I get to take Biology - college biology - next semester!!!!!!
  • Goodwill. Because you can find super awesome and normally expensive (and modest!) things for way less.
Awkward:
  • When an older man asks me if I'm a hillbilly because I have no shoes on outside. (To which I laughed and he said he was the same way when he was younger. See? Shoes are overrated:))
  • Multitasking. For instance, right now I am writing this, reading my assignment for speech, and answering my speech group's email. Oh, and my family is packing the van for tomorrow:).
  • When you're packing and you forget that one thing.
  • Walking into a room three times to get something, but coming out with something else because you saw it and forgot what the other thing you needed was.
  • Seeing things that remind you of camp. Like salad. Who thinks of salad and remembers camp??? Also food poisoning.....Fun times;)
  • Warning to the wise: do not stand underneath the laundry chute. You will get hit with clothes/hanger/whatever else is thrown down. I speak from experience.
